It all depends on a number of things for example, use of lights, entertainment systems and the number of times the fridge is opened. Some of our vehicles have solar panel backup, which helps restore the living area battery when parked, but can’t keep up if everything is operating. A general rule of thumb is that if you drive a few hours every day, the alternator will help give the battery a top up charge. If you flatten the battery completely in the living area it will not affect the driving battery, however you will need to plug the vehicle into 240V mains power for the battery to fully recharge. We recommend you stay in Holiday Parks to charge the battery at a minimum every second night.
